We're going with hunter green, sage, and moss. Differing jewel tones. Also, we're using silver instead of gold, we both dislike gold.
I like the invitations, if you are going with a celtic theme they definitely fit, and I do not think they are tacky.
As for the colors, when you say the colors are green do you mean different shades of green? Be careful when using only 1 color, it is so easy to overdo it. Any one color overdone looks horrible.
I always recommend to choose 1 main color and at least 2 accents. For yours I would suggest kelly green as the main color, a lighter green, white and gold as your accents. So for your flowers you could go with whites, off whites, pale pinks, pale peach etc. A good florist will be able to find the perfect combination for you. Don't be afraid to put a little punch of color like red, orange or pink in the flowers that way they don't look washed out.
