Meaning of the amber-colored cross and Celtic?
I received a pewter pendant of a celtic cross with an amber color in the center. The cross is the kind with four beams of equal length with a circle behind him. Does anyone know the symbolic significance of and / or amber?
The Celtic cross with 4 arms equals is a symbol of the sun-cross is also called a sun, and a masculine symbol, but also similar to the yin / yang that is often used to mean the reconciliation of opposites. In general, a very positive sign and so is Amber
Bending Pewter?
Is it okay if pewter kind of bends so you bend it back? i Just got a i celtic cross and it bent and it is made fo pewter so i bent it back and i don't want it to snap in half, so i just want to make sure it is okay
Unfortunately pewter is not that suited for repetitive bending. Bending it back once could work if you do it carefully and the amount of bending is limited. But that spot will become a weak point. Both more susceptible to bending and the place it can snap if bend again.
